‘Awa Harvesting & Preparation Workshop with Ka‘iana Runnels
No COVID-19 Restrictions. Masks optional.
Sunday, May 8th | 9am – 3pm

This is the second class in our ‘awa series following Growing Hawaiian ‘Awa on May 7. Although the first class is not required to attend, it is recommended. Participants will dig up a 2 year old ‘awa (Piper methysticum) at MNBG and cut, clean, process, and sample fresh made ‘awa with cultural practitioner, Ka‘iana Runnels.
Cost: $45 for current MNBG members, $70 for non-members (includes one year membership).
