Saturday, May 21st | 9am – 11pm, 12pm–2pm, or 2:30–4:30pm (choose one)

Students will learn how to use the tools to make different cuts, profiling, form and technique from Nalu Andrade of Na Maka Kahiko. This two-hour hands on workshop offers attendees a cultural lesson creating repetitive designs used for kapa (bark cloth). With one stamp, an artist can create hundreds of different designs. Your finished stamp can be used to make designs or worn as a hairpick.
Cost (includes materials): $40 for current MNBG members, $65 for non-members (includes one-year membership).
