Explore Hawaiian Wearable Kapa Making Techniques

In this two day, in-depth, workshop students will learn construction and manufacturing techniques of making malo, pā‘ū, and kīhei.
Students must have prior kapa making experience level of Intermediate to advanced to participate. Prime quality Wauke nui will be provided to the participants and will be included in the cost.
Kapa practitioners and mother-daughter duo, Lisa Schattenburg-Raymond (dba Kapa Lauhuki LLC ) and Kale‘a Raymond (dba La‘ahana Creations LLC) will share their experiences and skills in making wearable kapa.
Note: This is a TWO-DAY workshop. Participants must attend both days.
