‘Ōhiʻa Seed Conservation Workshop with Marian Chau (In Person)
Saturday, January 22th | 9 am – 12pm

Maui Nui Botanical Gardens participates in the Rapid ʻŌhiʻa Death (ROD) Seed Banking Initiative, and is seeking volunteers to accompany us on seed collection trips. Led by Dr. Marian Chau of Kalelehua Seed Conservation, this class is open to anyone who wants to learn how to properly collect, handle, and process ʻōhiʻa seeds, without doing harm to trees or forests.
