Liz Morales - Ahumanu

Liz Morales is a professional entertainer, musician, and songwriter with over 20 years of experience performing across Hawaiʻi and beyond. An active gigging artist, she plays guitar, bass, ukulele, and steel guitar, offering a wide range of music from traditional Hawaiian to country, smooth jazz, contemporary island, and original compositions. Liz also serves as a licensed wedding officiant on Maui, sharing aloha and uplifting energy with couples on their special day. In addition to solo work, Liz collaborates with other musicians, supports live performances, and creates custom playlists and musical experiences for events. Known for her professionalism, creativity, and easygoing nature, Liz brings both talent and heart to every project.

Kevin Brown - Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar

Traditional slack key guitarist and Hawaiian vocalist Kevin Brown is the soft-spoken leader of the popular Maui group Ola Hou. One of Hawaiʻi's finest musicians and instructors, his easy-going style has deeply influenced a generation of musicians both in Hawaiʻi and on the mainland. Kevin Brown sings and teaches Hawaiian songs with the true feeling of aloha.

Wailau Ryder & Marja Apisoloma

Wailau is an award-winning producer and musician that plays alongside some of our local greats, like Amy Hanaaliʻi, Kalani Peʻa, Napua Greig, and Raiatea Helm. Marja was once part of Ahumanu and now does solo and duo alongside Wailau. Their voices together are magical and their spirit of aloha can be heard in their melodies.

Leimana Purdy

Leimana Purdy, 21, is a Hawaiian falsetto entertainer and proud graduate of Kamehameha Schools Maui. Raised in a home filled with mele, hula, ʻoli, and the sounds of Hawaiian instruments, Leimanaʻs upbringing was deeply rooted in culture and tradition. From a young age, she found joy in singing, dancing, and playing the ʻukulele — experiences that shaped her voice and passion as an artist.

In 2024, Leimana was named the Carmen Hulu Lindsey Leo Haʻi Haʻi Falsetto Champion, a title that honors not only her vocal talent but also her deep connection to the meaning and mana behind each mele. While Hawaiian music has always been a part of her life, her love for falsetto grew stronger as she began to truly understand the stories and emotions behind the songs. For Leimana, mele is more than performance — itʻs a way to connect with her kūpuna, her ʻohana, her friends, and her lāhui. Whether on stage or in community, Leimana continues to uplift and preserve the traditions of Hawaiian music through her voice, her heart, and her commitment to cultural storytelling.
