Maui Nui Botanical Gardens Docent-led Tours

Learn about native Hawaiian plants and their role in Hawaiian ethnobotany from an alaka‘i kuhi (resident docent). Your alaka‘i kuhi will demonstrate traditional uses of endemic, indigenous, and canoe plants growing at Maui Nui Botanical Gardens and tell a few of their many stories during this one-hour outdoor tour. Tours are limited to 9 people or less.

School Groups: If you would like to schedule a tour for a group of Maui students, please call us at 249-2798 for special rates and times.
