MNBG is now a participating garden in the American Horticultural Society Reciprocal Admissions Program.  Current MNBG members now receive special admission privileges and discounts at 320 gardens throughout North American and the Cayman Islands.  A list of participating gardens can be found at www.ahsgardening.org/rap

    All Members enjoy free, unlimited, admission* for one year from your donation date.
  • Newsletter Subscription
    A subscription to the Maui Nui Botanical Gardens’ Newsletter, published two times per year. Each issue includes updates on what’s happening at the Gardens, acknowledgements of donors and grantors, recognition of volunteer activities and a list of upcoming events.
  • E-Communication
    Stay up-to-date on what’s happening at the garden, help us care for the environment, and save on the cost of a stamp! Receive periodic MNBG communications via e-mail and get all the current information on upcoming events and programs being offered at the Gardens.
  • Members-only Discounts
    Receive a 10% discount on of all MNBG plants and merchandise purchases during special events, and enjoy discounted rates when signing up for workshops, classes and lectures at the Gardens.

*Admission does not include permission to engage in commercial activities. MNBG reserves the right to disallow activities not included in our use of premises agreement with the County of Maui.

Naupaka $25

Includes Newsletter subscription, E-Communication, Member Discounts, and Admission: Unlimited admission for member only.

Hala $35 (Family)

All Naupaka Membership benefits and Unlimited admission for member and 4 guests, just right for families and friends.

'Ilima $50 to $499 (Group)

All Hala Membership benefits and Admission. All Hala member benefits and unlimited admission for member and up to 30 guests, perfect for community organizations. Please note that our lease does not allow for-profit organizations to charge fees for use of the Garden or for activities or services performed at Maui Nui Botanical Gardens.

'Iliahi $500 to $999

All 'ilima Membership benefits and a Complementary Gift:
As a high level supporter of the Gardens, we’d like to give you a gift featuring a Native plant and a specialty merchandise item featuring Maui Nui Botanical Gardens' logo. Please stop by the Gardens' office to receive your gift.

Ma'o Hau Hele $1,000 to $4,999

All ‘Iliahi Membership benefits and an Honorary Planting:
For your help to financially sustain the Gardens, we will plant one native tree or shrub in your honor at the Gardens. Although we reserve the right to choose the species, we are happy to work with you to find an appropriate plant to symbolize your commitment. Please contact the MNBG staff if you wish to have a planting in your honor.

Palupalu o Kanaloa $5,000 and Above

All Ma'o Hau Hele benefits and a Garden Plaque:
Kanaloa kahoolawensis is one of the rarest Native Hawaiian plants in Maui Nui and like its rarity, we know that we are very fortunate to have members who belong to this elite level of giving. Therefore, we are privileged to honor Palupalu o Kanaloa members with a dedicated plaque which will be placed in the garden to identify your large contribution and commitment to help sustain the garden. Please contact the MNBG staff if you are interested in the creation of a permanent plaque.
